Gears with one-toothed pinion

Several gears are shown with a pinion with only one tooth:
1. Due to less friction contacts the efficiency ratio can increase up to 10-20%.
2. By enlargening the modulus the load capacity of the gear is increasable, up to 30%.
3. The possible cost reduction by reason of saved parts and stages is crucial.
4. The noise emission can be lowered up to 10 dB(A).
5. The needed installation space can be diminished.
